Combat and Stats

- Combat -
We are of a more free form battle system here, we don't have any stats other then level, nature, ability, and moves. You are welcome to experiment and test what you can do in battle from parkour battling to complicated scenarios and strategies. Just keep in mind to follow the rules and use common sense, fish won't be flying in the air or hovering and ground types wouldn't be swimming. You can use stats and any sort of battle calculators as well if you want, but that is up to you.
You can't keep dodging all the time and you can't say if your attack hits either so no godmoding or powerplay. Usually just have fun though, make it exciting and if you mess up see how you can improve.
- Leveling -
Even though we have no stats we do have a simple leveling system, one I've tried to make as simple as possible with a bit of oomph to it. You have 10 points per level until you level up, and depending on the level of the opponent you beat depends on how many points you get.
5 +/- You get 5 points
10 levels below you get 3 points, every 5 levels after that you divide the points in half and round up.
10 levels above you get 10 points, for every 5 levels after that you times the points by 2.
- Affection and Beauty -
Affection and beauty are not really things we have on this site and you can rp it as you want. However for those evolutions that need affection or beauty to evolve we have an alternative. They evolve while leveling with specific items, a soothe bell for affection and prism scale for beauty. There are some Pokémon who evolve twice with affection, so they would need a soothe bell each time. These items are used up just like any other evolution item.
