- Breeding -
Breeders are able to put a male and female pokémon together and obtain an egg possibly from them or even more. This is essentially all there is to a Breeder, but it is far more complicated then that and could be said even harder then Contests or Gyms. The pokémon need to be a male and a female, and be within the same egg group as well. However here at Zephyr it is even more complicated then that, with a few more additional requirements.
Both pokémon need to be at least level 10 just to make sure they aren't babies barely hatched along with having at least a few attacks to try to impress the other. Also they need to be within three times weight of the other, say one weighs 100 pounds they could breed with someone up to 300 pounds or as low as 34 pounds. If one weighs more then is recommended, the smaller pokémon has a very high chance of being killed in the attempt.
Please keep in mind some pokémon have been changed to properly fit and make it easier for the site to run. Nidorina and Nidoqueen are now the same egg group as Nidorino and Nidoking. Shuckle is added to the mineral egg group while Ralts and that evo line to human like. Baby pokémon cannot breed at all since they are Babies, though once they evolve they can breed.
Interesting things to note are the pokémon without gender, usually you would have to breed them with a ditto to get eggs. While that is still the case here, you can also breed them with another one of their species for an egg. Two Beldum can have an egg, along with two magnemites, but you cannot have a magnemite and a beldum make an egg together. It isn't readily known how they do this, some people think they take a piece of themselves and join it with a piece from the other to start to form a new pokémon.
Breeders can only attempt 2 breedings a week, Once they breed 10 times successfully they can up have to 3 breeding attempts a week. If they successfully breed 20 more times they can have a total of 4 breeding attempts a week, but that is the maximum it can go. These ranks are Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert Breeder and will be noticed in their Profile in the class section by the Staff So there has to be a way to show you got these successful breedings..
Breeders can Breed other's Pokémon, it is between them and who they borrow from the pricing or compensation.
- Changed Egg Groups -
Nidorina and Nidoqueen - Same egg group as Nidorino and Nidoking
Shuckle - Added to Mineral Egg Group
Ralts and evos - Added to Human-like
Froslass - now Fairy and Amorphous, instead of Fairy and Mineral.
- Note: If you feel a Pokémon should be in an egg group or a different egg group bring it up to the staff for them to talk it over and decide.
